A. DEFINITIONS. As used in this part the following terms shall be defined to
<br />mean:

<br />Container. Any bottle, can, cup, glass, vessel, carton or other receptacle of alcoholic
<br />beverage.
<br />
<br />Motor Vehicle. Any vehicle which is self-propelled, including, but not limited to, passenger
<br />cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, motor-driven cycles, mopeds, boats or any other motor
<br />vehicle as defined in Chapter 316, Florida Statutes.
<br />
<br />Open or Unsealed Container. Any container, whether or not the original container, in which
<br />the alcoholic beverage was originally bottled, canned or otherwise encased which has been
<br />opened or unsealed. An open or unsealed container shall also mean any container that
<br />has been opened, tapped or unsealed regardless of whether or not the container has been
<br />resealed or reclosed.
<br />
<br />Possession. A person is in possession of a container, although it is not in the person'.s
<br />actual manual physical possession, if he or she has custody or control of the container or it
<br />is in such close proximity of the person that it can be easily retrieved or readily accessible.
<br />
<br />Public or Semi-public Hiqhways. All public or private roads, streets, highways, lanes,
<br />alleys, sidewalks, boulevards, avenues, roadways, rivers, lakes, streams, ponds and
<br />parking lots, garages and areas on which the public is expressly or implicitly invited to
<br />travel whether or not open for vehicular travel or any right-of-way upon which the public
<br />has the right to travel, whether public or private, in the City of Casselberry. It shall not
<br />include: (1) golf courses, and (2) private driveways or property serving a single dwelling
<br />unit.
<br />
<br />Public or Semi-public Parkinq Lot. Any area wherein motor vehicles are parked by the
<br />public in conjunction with any business, enterprise, commemial establishment, office
<br />building, apartment building, educational building, or facility, recreation building or facility,
<br />or governmental building or facility.
<br />
<br />B. POSSESSION OR CONSUMPTION PROHIBITED.
<br />
<br /> (1) It shall be unlawful for any person occupying a motor vehicle that is driven,
<br />stopped, standing, or parked on or in any public or semi-public highway within the City of
<br />Casselberry or who is otherwise on or in a public or semi-public highway, to possess any
<br />open or unsealed container of alcoholic beverage or to consume any alcoholic beverage in
<br />or on such highways.
<br />
<br /> (2) It shall be unlawful for any person to possess any open or unsealed container
<br />of alcoholic beverage on a public or semi-public parking lot within the City of Casselberry,
<br />or to consume any alcoholic beverage in such areas.
