CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Jon Miller - Seat #2: Echoed Mr. Fisher's concerns regarding parking on lawns in residential areas. . Commended Phyllis Wallace and Ed Torres of the Public Works Department for their efficient handling of coordinating repair of a streetlight on the comer of Cypress Way and Melody Lane. . Reported he attended the CRA Workshop held February 21,2007. . Reported he attended the Metroplan meeting held February 14, 2007 and gave a synopsis of the meeting's commuter rail discussion. . Reported he has been asked to speak about local governments to a political science class at UCF on April 9, 2007. Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford - Seat #4: Reported she attended the CRA Workshop held February 21, 2007. . Reported she was a member of the Leadership Seminole Class # 15 and that classes have commenced. Commissioner Sandra T. Solomon - Seat #3: . Voiced concerns regarding the maintenance ofthe grounds surrounding the Casselberry Post Office, and requested staff look into the matter. Thanked the City Manager and Marilyn Crotty of the Institute of Government for the City Commission workshop/retreat held February 17, 2007. . Reported she attended the recent Seminole County Chamber of Commerce State of the County Address. Vice Mayor Susan Doerner - Seat #1: . Echoed Mr. Fisher's concerns regarding parking on lawns in residential areas. Stated she wanted the City Commission to act on the pending parking ordinances. Concurred with Commissioner Solomon's concerns regarding grounds maintenance at the Casselberry Post Office. Reported she attended the CRA Workshop held February 21,2007. Reported she attended the Oxford Road Realignment Workshop recently held by Seminole County. Reported she attended the February 15, 2007 Seminole County CRA Advisory Committee meeting and noted she was elected Vice Chair of the Committee. She gave a synopsis of the meeting's discussion regarding redevelopment ofthe area near Flea World.
