Distributed the latest petition filed by Rachel's to the City Commission. Noted a brief would be filed <br />by the City and that it was not anticipated that the matter will move forward. <br />. Reported she was working with Eugene Miller on the proposed Charter amendments and discussion <br />of those amendments will be placed on the next City Commission regular meeting agenda. <br /> <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br /> <br />. No report. <br /> <br />17. CITY COMMISSION REPORTS/COMMENTS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jon Miller - Seat #2: <br />. Reported he attended the Metroplan meeting held February 7,2007. <br /> <br />Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford - Seat #4: <br />. Reported she attended the CRA public workshop held January 31, 2007. <br />Reported the City hosted the Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) meeting <br />on February 7,2007 at which the LYNX paratransit issue was discussed. Thanked the Deputy City <br />Clerk for coordinating dinner and the meeting. <br />. Reported the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce has created an Economic Development Board. <br />. Welcomed Barbara Lipscomb as City Manager. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sandra T. Solomon - Seat #3: <br />. Welcomed Barbara Lipscomb as City Manager. <br />. Voiced concerns regarding some recent code enforcement issues involving outside storage on <br />Jefferson Drive and Iris Road. <br />Noted Citizens Property Insurance Company will be requiring home inspections for insurance <br />renewals. <br />. Reported she attended the February 9, 2007 Community Redevelopment Agency meeting. <br />. Reported she attended the February 7, 2007 Council of Local Governments in Seminole County <br />(CALNO) meeting. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Susan Doerner - Seat # 1 : <br />Voiced concerns regarding some recent code enforcement issues involving outside storage on Iris <br />Road. Stated she felt City staff needed to be redirected on how the current codes are enforced to <br />ensure that blight is not created that impacts the quality of life of Casselberry citizens. <br />Stated she would like to see rental inspection ordinance brought back to the City Commission for <br />reconsideration. <br />Reported the Seminole County Commission acting as the County CRA recently discussed the <br />Lowe's project slated for the former K-Mart site in Fern Park(Unincorporated Seminole County). <br />Elaborated on the design issues that were discussed at the advisory committee level that were <br />presented as optional upgrades at the CRA level and voiced concerns in that regard. <br />
