SPECIAL INVOICE AND MINOR CONTRACT REPORT <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Pursuant to Resolution 05-1557, invoice information regarding attorney fees, initial <br />contracts for projects, award of bids and change orders on a project in excess of five percent (5%) are to be <br />presented to the City Commission prior to payment. The following were presented by Ms. Thelma <br />McPherson, City Clerk, for consideration: <br /> <br />Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta, P.A. <br />. City Attorney Services for November 2006 <br />Invoice No. 22714 <br /> <br />$ 5,957.65 <br /> <br />Akerman Senterfitt <br />. City Labor Attorney Services for November 2006 <br />Invoice No. 8153902 <br /> <br />$ 883.00 <br /> <br />Budget Impact: The City Attorney services are budgeted in Account #00 1-0 140-514.31.0 I. Labor Attorney <br />services are budgeted in Account #001-0140-514.31.02. There is no additional budget impact. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the City Clerk recommended approval of the Special <br />Invoice and Minor Contract Report as presented. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Doerner moved to approve the Special <br />Invoice and Minor Contract Report, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. <br /> <br />B. CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Staff Report: Mr. Gene Miller, Interim City Manager, stated the City Commission had previously authorized <br />himself and Vice Mayor Doerner to negotiate an employment agreement with Barbara Lipscomb. Ms. <br />Lipscomb expects to begin her duties January 29, 2007. The compensation package recommended included <br />the following: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Salary - $140,000 per year (as advertised). <br />Auto Allowance - $450 per month. <br />Cell Phone/Blackberry Allowance -$85 per month. <br />Health Insurance - Premiums paid for the City's plan for her and spouse (if she should marry). <br />Term Life Insurance - Premiums paid in the amount of one (I) times annual salary. <br />Short Term Disability Insurance - City's coverage for all employees. <br />Vacation Leave - credited with 160 hours upon appointment, then accruals at 16 hours per month. <br />Sick Leave - credited with 160 hours upon appointment, then accruals at 8 hours per month. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
