<br />CONTRACTUAL SERVICES <br />Page 1 0116 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this, day of February 2007, <br />by and between the CITY OF CASSELBERRY, an agency of the State of Florida, <br />hereinafter called the City and DYER, RIDDLE, MILLS & PRECOURT, INC. (DRMP) of <br />941 Lake Baldwin Lane, Orlando, Florida 32814 authorized to conduct business in the <br />State of Florida, hereinafter called the Consultant, agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. SERVICES AND PERFORMANCE: <br /> <br />A. The City does hereby retain the Consultant to furnish certain services in <br />connection with Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) Services <br />including, but not limited to, administration of the projects known as Triplet <br />Lake Drive & US 17-92 Intersection Improvements, North Winter Park <br />Drive Re-alignment Project and Plumosa Avenue at US 17/92 Intersection <br />Improvement Project to ensure the listed construction contracts are <br />constructed in reasonable conformity with the plans, specifications, and <br />contract provisions . <br /> <br />B. The Consultant and the City mutually agree to furnish, each to the other, <br />the respective services, information and items as described herein and in <br />authorized Supplemental Agreements. <br /> <br />C. Before performing any work under this Agreement, the parties shall enter <br />into a Supplemental Agreement covering specific Scopes of Services and <br />compensation. Reference herein to this Agreement shall be considered <br />to include any Supplemental Agreement. The parties shall also enter into <br />an Intellectual Property Agreement, attached hereto as Attachment "A." <br /> <br />D. In the performance of professional services, the Consultant shall use that <br />degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by other similar professionals <br />in the field under similar conditions in similar localities. <br /> <br />E. The Consultant agrees to provide project schedule progress reports in a <br />format acceptable to the City and at intervals established by the City. The <br />City will be entitled at all times to be advised, at its request, as to the <br />status of work being done by the Consultant and of the details thereof. <br />Coordination shall be maintained by the Consultant with representatives <br />of the City, or of other agencies interested in the project on behalf of the <br />City.
