RESOLUTION 07-1754 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD RELATING TO THE PROVISION OF TRANSPORTATION FOR CITY SPONSORED PROGRAMS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has operated the senior and youth programs over the years with the purpose of providing wholesome recreational activities for the residents of the City of Casselberry, Florida; and WHEREAS, recreational and educational trips from the City are considered a vital part of the programs; and WHEREAS, Seminole County School Board has successfully made bussing available to provide transportation for these trips and has been the primary provider for the City over the past twelve years. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE. The City Commission approves entering into an agreement (attached as Exhibit A) with the Seminole County School Board for the calendar year 2007 providing for transportation for the purpose of City sponsored programs and authorizes the Mayor to execute said contract on behalf of the City. SECTION TWO. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION THREE. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section ofthis Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other Section or Part of this Resolution.
