I TO THE STANDARD
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH ARCADIS G & M. INC. FOR THE
SEMINOLE COUNTY WATER SUPPLY PLAN DEVELOPMENT

The City Clerk read Resolution 06-1705 by title as follows:

"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. I TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN ARCADIS G &M INC. AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY
FOR THE SEMINOLE COUNTY WATER SUPPLY PLAN - 2025; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE."

Staff Presentation: Mr. Torres stated Resolution 06-1705 provides for Amendment No. I to the Standard
Consultant Agreement with Arcadis G & M, Inc. which originally approved on May 23, 2005. The original
scope of services envisioned a groundwater modeling task with St. Johns River Water Management District
(SJRWMD) participation and a monitoring planning task. After further evaluations and as a result of the
completed tasks, it was determined that these two tasks could be elinIinated and the funds set aside for them
would be better spend on additional alternative evaluations, capital cost estimates, water demand projections
for the period 2025-2045, and associated tasks. Amendment No. I proposes to accomplish these new work
tasks/services, and modifies the agreement accordingly.

BudgetImpact: Since all funds for these services are paid for by the SJR WMD prior to any payments being
made by the City to Arcadis G & M, Inc., the City will not experience any budget impacts. The total
professional fee amount has not been revised.

Recommendation: The City Manager and Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 06-
1705 as presented.

MOTION:

Commissioner Hufford moved to approve Resolution
06-1705 as presented. Motion was seconded by
Commissioner Doerner.
