<br />maximum use for the comfort and convenience of all. No person in a City Park shall <br />use any portion of the picnic areas or any of the buildings or structures therein for the <br />purpose of holding picnics to the exclusion of other persons, nor shall any person use <br />such area and facilities for an unreasonable time if the facilities are crowded unless <br />prior reservations and permits have been obtained through the Parks Department. <br /> <br />Section 60-6. Traffic. <br /> <br />(a) The State Uniform Traffic Control Laws, Chapter 316, Florida Statutes, <br />and all other Florida Statutes related to traffic enforcement, are incorporated by <br />reference and made part of this Ordinance and shall apply to the operation of all motor <br />vehicles, as defined in Chapter 316, on streets and roads in all City Park(s), unless <br />modified herein. Law enforcement officers and City employees are hereby authorized <br />to direct traffic whenever necessary within the City Park(s). <br /> <br />(b) It is unlawful to operate, drive or park any motor vehicle or other vehicle <br />upon any road, driveway, path, trail, parking area, or other area unless it has been <br />designated for such use by the City. <br /> <br />(c) It is unlawful to cause any vehicle for hire to stand upon any part of a City <br />Park for the purpose of soliciting passengers. <br /> <br />(d) It is unlawful to drive a motor vehicle, motorized scooter, electric personal <br />assistive mobility device or moped at a rate of speed exceeding ten (10) miles per hour <br />in any City Park unless the City has posted a greater speed limit. <br /> <br />(e) It is unlawful to park any vehicle in or on an area within a City Park which <br />has not been designated for parking. <br /> <br />(f) It is unlawful to enter or exit from any City Park in any vehicle except at <br />entrances and exits designated for such purpose by the City. <br /> <br />Section 60-7. Pollution and litter. <br /> <br />(a) It is unlawful to throw or place or cause to be thrown or placed, any litter, <br />dirt, filth, or foreign matter into any fountain, or the waters of any lake, pond, pool, river, <br />inlet, tank or reservoir in any City Park or on the grounds of or adjacent to any City Park. <br /> <br />(b) It is unlawful to cause any pollutant, as defined in Sections 206.9925 and <br />376.031, Florida Statutes, to be placed in or to otherwise pollute the lands or waters of a <br />City Park. <br /> <br />(c) No person shall bring in or dump, deposit or leave any bottles, paper, <br />broken glass, ashes, boxes, cans, dirt, rubbish, waste, garbage, refuse or other trash. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 06-1189 <br />Page 6 of 11 <br />
