<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />Chapter 60, PARKS AND RECREATION. <br /> <br />Section 60-1. ADDlicability of chaDter. The provIsions of this <br />chapter shall govern the use of city-owned parks and recreational areas and the <br />facilities located therein. <br /> <br />Section 60-2. City Park Defined. As used in this Ordinance, the term "City <br />Park" means land owned, maintained by the City of Casselberry and designated as a <br />"City Park" by a resolution or any land which has been dedicated for use as a City Park <br />developed or undeveloped, which has been accepted by the City Commission. <br />Included in the definition of the term "City Park" are all natural resources, wildlife, <br />facilities, improvements, waters and materials in, on or under the lands so designated. <br />Properties in any system of trails owned by the City are intended to be designated as a <br />City Park. <br /> <br />Section 60-3. Hours of oDeration and Qeneral use. <br /> <br />(a) Hours. Except as otherwise specifically provided, City Parks shall be <br />open for public use from sunrise to sunset, and closed from sunset to sunrise. Such <br />closing hours shall not apply to activities being held pursuant to approval or permit <br />granted by the City Commission or by the City's Director of Parks and Recreation or <br />Chief of Police when such approval or permit specifies longer hours. The City Manager <br />or his designee is authorized, upon application of any citizen, to permit a reasonable <br />expansion or contraction of City Park hours for specific events if good cause is shown. <br /> <br />(b) Closure. The City Manager may close any City Park or Parks as deemed <br />appropriate in the event of an emergency or an imminent threat to the public health, <br />safety or welfare. <br /> <br />(c) Risk of use. Persons using the City Park(s) do so at their own risk. <br /> <br />(d) Children. Adults are responsible for children that they bring to the City <br />Park(s) or who are otherwise under their care, custody or control. <br /> <br />(e) Endangering personal safety. No person shall endanger the safety of any <br />person by any conduct or act. <br /> <br />(f) <br />fighting. <br /> <br />Fighting. No person shall commit any assault or battery or engage in <br /> <br />(g) Interference with use. No person shall prevent any person from using any <br />Park, or any of its facilities, or interfere with such use in compliance with this chapter <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 06-1189 <br />Page 4 of 11 <br />
