<br />City Commission Meeting <br />June 26, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />The following individuals came forward and expressed opposition to the Proposed Parking Ordinance: <br /> <br />7) JamesChristian, 270 WetumpaCourt, Casselberry, FL32707. He indicated thatthe new regulations, <br />if adopted as proposed, would be unfair and unenforceable. <br /> <br />8) Thomas Butler, 834 Wolf Trail, Casselberry, FL 32707. He was specifically opposed to the <br />regulations as they relate to campers. <br /> <br />9) George Miller, 19 I Northmoor Road, Casselberry, FL 32707. He stated that the new ordinances <br />were over restrictive and unnecessary and suggested the Commission concentrate more on <br />regulations for rental properties. He also spoke in opposition to the development of a City Civic <br />Center. <br /> <br />10) John Casselberry, 700 S. Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, FL 32707, addressed the issue ofthe City <br />Attorney changing firms and her rate. <br /> <br />8. Public Hearin!!s <br /> <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 06-1 195 - Zoning Map Amendment (AB 06-03) - 851 Seminola <br />Boulevard and Adjacent Property to the East (Martin Van Duyvenbode) <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 06-1 195 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN <br />ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND <br />SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RMF- <br />13 (RESIDENTIAL MULTI-FAMILY, 13 UNITS PER ACRE) FOR THAT PARCEL <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Le!!al Advertisement: The public hearing for Ordinance 06- I 195 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on <br />June 16, 2006. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 06-1 195 is a request to amend the City Zoning Map classification from R-9 <br />to RMF- I 3 for property located at 851 Seminola Boulevard and the adjacent vacant property to the east. The <br />requested zoning is compatible with the existing Future Land Use Map designation of Medium Density <br />Residential. The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved this request on April 26, 2006. <br />The City Commission approved Ordinance 06- I 195 on first reading on May 22, 2006. The applicant is Mr. <br />Martin Van Duyvenbode. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approval of Ordinance 06-1 195 on second reading. <br />
