Resolution 06-1660 - Agreement with NAI Realvest for Disposal of City Properties <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 06-1660 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, <br />APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN NAI REAL VEST AND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY; PROVIDING FOR PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE SERVICES <br />TO LIST AND SELL CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTIES; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Resolution 06-1660 approves an agreement with NAI Realvest for real estate services <br />to lease, manage and offer for sale the Concord Center property and the two City parcels on the north and <br />south of the Chan property (4225-4245 U.S. Highway 17-92 and 4305-4335 U.S. Highway 17-92 <br />respectively). <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approve Resolution 06-1660, Agreement with NAI Realvest for disposition of <br />City properties. <br /> <br />Audience Input: John Casselberry, 700 S. Lost Lake Lane, suggested that the Commission lease the City <br />properties instead of placing them on the market for sale. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cook noted an error in the second Whereas clause of the Resolution. Resolution 06-1 ] 60, <br />second Whereas clause in part will be corrected to state, "....the immediate southeastern quadrant of U.S. <br />Hwy. 17-92 andMelodv Lane and in the immediate northeastern quadrant of U.S. ] 7-92 and Triplet Lake <br />Drive; and...." <br /> <br />The City Manager stated that correction would be made to Resolution 06-1660. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve <br />Resolution 06-1660, NAI Realvest Agreement, as <br />corrected. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Colleeen S. Hufford and carried on a 5 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />F. Countywide Integrated Mosquito Control Program <br /> <br />Ms. Kim Omberg, Principal Engineer with Seminole County gave a brief presentation outlining the <br />recommendationsofthe Joint City/County Advisory Committee and Storm water Technical Sub-Committee <br />regarding the final mosquito control recommendations.
