<br />City Commission Meeting <br />February 13, 2006 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Adopt the new fees schedule as presented in Exhibit "A" of Resolution 06-1647. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve <br />Resolution 06-1647, Parks and Recreation Fees, as <br />presented. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Colleen S. Hufford and carried unanimously by voice <br />vote. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />D. Resolution 06-1648 - Extension of Sales Tax Revenue Note with SunTrust Bank <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 06-1648 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING <br />AN ELEVEN-MONTH EXTENSION OF THE MATURITY DATE OF THE CITY'S <br />$3,000,000 SALES TAX REVENUE NOTE, SERIES 2004; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />EXECUTION OF A REPLACEMENT NOTE; PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN OTHER <br />MATTERS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Resolution 06-1648 extends the maturing date of the City's $3,000,000 Sales Tax <br />Revenue Note, Series 2004 with Sun Trust Bank for eleven (11) months to January 1,2007. The extension <br />is necessary to allow for the development approval of projects as presented to the Commission in the report <br />"Revitalizing Casselberry" dated February 8, 2006. The City will be repaid when property for the projects <br />is sold to Unicorp. <br /> <br />Audience Input: Mr. John Casselberry, 700 S. Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, recommended the extension <br />on the note should be longer than eleven months. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approval of Resolution 06-1648 as presented. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. First Reading of Ordinance 06-1180 - Agenda Preparation Issues <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 06-1180 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />PART II, CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE III, DIVISION 2, CITY <br />MANAGER, SECTION 2-106, POWERS AND DUTIES, OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO CLARIFY AGENDA <br />PREPARATION; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />
