<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSIOI\ <br />Minutes of January 9, 2006 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 of t3 <br /> <br />4. Roll Call <br /> <br />The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present. <br /> <br />5. Approval of Al!enda <br /> <br />Commissioner Cook inquired why items (D), (E), and (F) were under the Consent Agenda for consideration <br />since they were only informational items. Mr. Stampfler stated this method was the easiest way to inform <br />the Commission of routine matters at one time and to make a part of the record. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve <br />the agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by <br />Vice Mayor Linda Hart and carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />6. Presentations <br /> <br />A. Mavor's Proclamation <br /> <br />Mayor Goff presented Charles "Chuck" Jones, Facilities Supervisorofthe Parks & Recreation Departmellt, <br />with a proclamation in honor of his retirement from the City. Mr. Jones was a dedicated employee of the <br />City of Casselberry Parks & Recreation Department for over 30 years. <br /> <br />7. Citizens' Comments <br /> <br />1) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, stated that City Commission Members <br />should be reimbursed for attending joint meetings with Seminole County. <br /> <br />2) Paul Spung, P.O. Box 300882, Casselberry, 32730, stated objections to the late fee <br />assessed on utility bills as excessive. He opined that the existing system, with the late fee <br />and no grace period, was not community minded and the City Commission should consider <br />revising their policy regarding utility billing system that is fair and reasonable. <br /> <br />8. Public Hearings <br /> <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 05-1172 - Amending Section 68 of the City Code Roadway <br />and Utilitv Construction) and Land Develooment regulations <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 05-1172 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />ARTICLE II, SECTION 68-103 STREET CONSTRUCTION, OF THE CITY CODE <br />
