<br />"Percent New Trips (Passerby Capture)" shall mean both diverted and pass-by <br />captured trips. <br /> <br />"Post Office" shall mean a building that contains service windows for mailing <br />packages and letters, post office boxes, office, sorting and distributing facilities for mail, <br />and vehicle storage areas. <br /> <br />"Private School" shall mean a privately owned educational facility that offers <br />services to students from preschool up to and including college level. <br /> <br />"Racquet Clubs/Health Clubs" shall mean tennis, handball, squash, racquetball and <br />other court sport facilities, including ancillary swimming pools and exercise facilities. <br /> <br />"Restaurant: Fast-Food" shall mean an eating place with limited or no sit-down <br />facilities, a drive-in window, and where food is frequently ordered and taken out to be <br />consumed outside the restaurant building. <br /> <br />"Restaurant: Quality" shall mean a land use consisting of eating establishments of <br />high quality and turnover rates of one hour or longer. They generally do not serve <br />breakfast, some do not serve lunch, all serve dinner. <br /> <br />"Restaurant: High-Turnover (sit-down)" shall mean an eating place with indoor <br />service and places for customers to sit while consuming their meals. <br /> <br />"Retail" shall mean one or more establishments devoted to selling merchandise, <br />goods and products to consumers. <br /> <br />"Road Impact Construction" shall mean land development designed or intended to <br />permit a use of the land which will contain more dwelling units, buildings or floor space than <br />the existing use of land, or otherwise change the use of the land in a manner that <br />increases the generation of vehicular traffic or the number of external trips. <br /> <br />"Service Station" shall mean a facility primarily designed for dispensing fuel to motor <br />vehicles, including maintenance and repair services. <br /> <br />"Single-Family Detached House" shall mean a home on an individual lot, except <br />detached homes on lots less than 50 feet wide, such as zero-lot line homes. <br /> <br />"Specialty Retail" are centers such as small strip shopping centers that contain a <br />variety of retail shops and specialize in quality apparel, hard goods, and services such as <br />real estate offices, dance studios, florists, and small restaurants. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 27 <br />
