Public Hearing and Second Reading of Ordinance 05-1170 - Wests ide Area Official Zoning Map <br />Amendment (ZB 05-03) <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 05-1170 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN <br />ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND <br />SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE OFFICIAL ZONING <br />CLASSIFICATIONS FOR THOSE SPECIFIC PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION <br />1 OF THIS ORDINANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE "WESTSIDE SMALL <br />AREA STUDY CONCEPTUAL PLAN;" PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Le!!al Advertisement: The notice for the second public hearing for Ordinance 05-1170 was advertised in <br />the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday, October 30, 2005. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 05-1 170 amends the Oficial Zoning Map designations of properties identified <br />in the Wests ide Small Area Study Conceptual Plan, approved by the City Commission on January 10,2005. <br />The revisions in Ordinance 05-1 170 affect 62 separate parcels totaling 42.55 acres and correspond to existing <br />future land use map designations that were approved in Ordinance 05-1169. This first required public <br />hearing on this amendment was held on August 8, 2005. All property owners affected by the future land use <br />and rezoning changes were notified by mail of both hearings. <br /> <br />StaffRecomendation: Approve Ordinance 05-1170 on and final public hearing. <br /> <br />Audience InDut: (Comments made by John Casselberry, 700 S. Hufford to approve Ordinance 05-1170, <br />Wests ide Area Official Zoning Map Amendment (ZB 05-03) as presented on <br />second reading. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner <br />and carried on a 4 - 1 vote. Commissioner Kathy L. Cook dissenting. <br /> <br />9. Consent A!!enda <br /> <br />The following item was presented on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />a) Additional Capital Outlay and Related Budget Transfer (3,000.00) - Purchase ofa Multiquip <br />MT74FA Rammer Compactor - $2,525.77 (Public Works Department) <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve the Consent Agenda as <br />presented. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and <br />carried unanimously by voice vote. (5 - 0) <br />
