City Commission Meeting October 24, 2005 Page 9 The consensus ofthe Commission was to have the owners of the golf course give a presentation to the entire Commission rather than meeting with the Commission on a one-on-one basis. This item will be placed on a future agenda for a presentation to the Commission. 12. Commission Reports/Requests Commissioner Doerner - No Report Commissioner Cook - · Attended the October 2005 Mayor's/Manager Meeting representing the City for the Mayor. · Attended the "Walk Your Child to School Day" and congratulated Susan Vernon-Devlin for a good job in the coordination of the event. Commissioner Hufford - Attended the reception for Sgt. Diaz on October 15,2005 for his service in the military. Commissioner Hart- · Attended the reception for Sgt. Diaz on October 15,2005 and presented a Proclamation to him, on behalf of the Commission, for his service in Iraq. Attended the PBSA Meeting on October 12,2005 and presented the State ofthe City message in the Mayor's stead. · Congratulated Mr. Dreier and the Finance Department on achieving the "A ward of Financial Reporting Achievement" · The next CALNO Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2,2005, at the School Board. Mayor Goff - Thanked Commissioners Cook and Hart for filling in for him while he was on vacation in the Bahamas. · Requested the Administration meet with Longwood to discuss a possible nterlocal Agreement regarding utilities and annexation. Mr. Segreto stated that he had met with Longwood regarding this issue and the matter will be readdressed after the arrival of the new City Manager. This matter will come back to the Commission after that time. Attended the Casselberry Elementary School "Walk Your Child to School Day".
