<br />hereby revised as follows: <br />Sec. 68-103. Street construction. <br />(a) Clearing and grading at right-at-way. The developer shall clear all rights-of- <br />way and recovery areas, which shall conform to minimum standards <br />according to the Manual of Uniform Minimum Standards for Design, <br />Construction and Maintenance for Streets and Highways, prepared by the <br />6late-Florida eQepartment of Ilransportation IFDOn, in accordance with <br />F.S. § 336.045. Trees may be selectively cleared away from the recovery <br />area, and all grades, including grades for streets, alleys and drainage, <br />shall be consistent with grades approved for the subdivision. All debris <br />shall be removed from rights-of-way. <br />(b) Pa'.<.'Rg.Subarade <br />(1) All unstable materials, such as muck, peat, plastic clays or marls, <br />shall be removed from roadbed areas. The areas then shall be <br />backfilled with suitable material and the subgrade stabilized to a <br />depth of ten inches below the base course to 50 pounds per square <br />inch, Florida aj;!earing \I~alue. The materials to be added for <br />stabilization, it needed, shall be either high bearing soil, sand, clay <br />or ground lime rock or any other material which is suitable. Muck <br />shall not be used. For rural sections, subgrade shall be stabilized to <br />include the entire width of both shoulders. Where curb and gutter is <br />utilized, subgrade shall be stabilized underneath the curb and for a <br />distance of one foot beyond the back edge of curbs. <br />(2) Written test results, taken by ag aDDrovedGGR'I3EJteAt testing <br />laboratory, shall be submitted giving Florida aj;!earing \I~alues <br />sufficient to obtain uniform results for each and every type of soil <br />appearing in the roadbed, or at tandem locations designated by the <br />!;;A€jiAeer Construction-Inspector. <br />(3) After the subgrade is mixed, brought to grade, and ready for base <br />course construction, it shall be tested for density. Written results of <br />tests by a competent testing laboratory shall be submitted showing <br />not less than 95 percent of the mModified Proctor IASTM D 1557 <br />or AASHTO T-180\ maximum density for samples taken not more <br /> <br />~2-'1l8 <br />
