<br />City Commission Meeting <br />October 10,2005 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />5. Approval of A!!enda <br /> <br />Mayor Goff stated that staff requested the Agenda be modified to add as [tern 9 (L) - Discussion of <br />cancellation of a meeting in November and December for the holidays. Item 9 (1) on the Agenda was <br />removed to correct the advertising that is required for ULDR's. A request to add a presentation honoring <br />services of Staff Sergeant Guillermo Diaz Hidalgo was also presented for addition to the Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve the Agenda as amended. <br />The motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />The Mayor read a Proclamation honoring the services of Guillermo Diaz Hidalgo, Staff Sergeant, U.S. Army <br />Reserves, for his untiring and continuing military service which included two years in Kuwait. Mayor Goff <br />extended the appreciation and gratitude of the citizens of Casselberry to him for a job well done. The <br />commendation will be presented to Sergeant Guillermo Diaz Hidalgo at a block party to be given in his honor <br />on Saturday, October 15,2005. <br /> <br />6. Citizen Comments <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />7. Consent A!!enda <br /> <br />The following items were presented on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />a) Beverage Permit for Jazz Concert <br />b) Budget Amendment 06-0 I - Contingency Reserve to Cover Additional Costs (Salary and <br />Relocation Associated with the Contract with the New City Manager) <br />c) Budget Amendment 06-02 - Contingency Reserve to Cover Purchase of Replacement <br />Computer for Public Works Director (Current Computer to Stay in City Manager's Office) <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve the Consent <br />Agenda as submitted. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Linda Hart and carried unanimously by voice vote. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />8. Old Business <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />9. New Business <br /> <br />A. Special Invoice and Minor Contracts/Amendments Authorization Report <br /> <br />Pursuant to Resolution 05-1557, invoice information regarding attorney fees, initial contracts for projects, <br />award of bids and change orders on a project in excess of five (5%) percent are to be presented to the <br />
