<br />collection <br />authorized <br />delinquency <br />services by <br /> <br />fee (whether billed by the City or its <br />agent) or City utility tax shall constitute a <br />hereunder and authorize abatement of all such <br />the City after notice of the delinquency. <br /> <br />(C) The City Public Works Director is authorized to <br />impose a delinquency charge of $15 on all solid waste and <br />recyclable materials collection accounts delinquent for <br />over 20 calendar days and is hereby authorized to <br />discontinue service to such delinquent accounts after <br />notice. Where service has been disconnected, service <br />will not resume until the amount of the delinquent <br />account and the sum of $15 representing disconnect and <br />reconnect charges has been paid to the city. If the <br />account is delinquent two times in a 12-month period, the <br />reconnect ion fee shall be $25 for each subsequent <br />reconnect ion thereafter. Total arrear ages plus the <br />delinquency charge must be paid by the customer before <br />reconnect ion of water, sewer, and solid waste/recyclable <br />materials collection services by the City. <br /> <br />(D) When an owner or occupant vacates or sells his <br />property leaving a delinquent utility bill, the city may, <br />at its option, refuse the delinquent customer any and all <br />utility services until the original account is paid in <br />full. <br /> <br />SECTION II. CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission <br /> <br />of the city of Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the <br /> <br />provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of <br /> <br />Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of this <br /> <br />Ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish such intention; that <br /> <br />the word, "Ordinance", may be changed to "section", "Article", or other <br /> <br />appropriate word. <br /> <br />SBCTION III. CONFLICTS. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in <br /> <br />conflict with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
