<br />ORDINANCE NO. 720 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 93, "HEALTH AND SANITATION," OF THE CODE <br />OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY; PROVIDING FOR <br />SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION BILLING; <br />PROHIBITING SEPARATE PAYMENT OF UTILITY BILL; PROVIDING <br />PENALTY AND TERMINATION OF UTILITY SERVICES FOR LATE <br />PAYMENT OR NONPAYMENT OF UTILITY BILL; PROVIDING FOR <br />CODIFICATIONS, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WBERBAS, the city of Casselberry, Florida, finds it in the public <br /> <br />interest to amend the City Code to more efficiently and effectively handle <br /> <br />the payment of the solid waste and recyclable materials collection billing <br /> <br />procedures a <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BB IT BNACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSBLBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SBCTION I. That Section 93 of the City Code of the City of Casselberry, <br /> <br />Florida, is hereby amended by adding a new section to be numbered Section <br /> <br />93.14, which Section shall read as follows: <br /> <br />§ 93.14 SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION <br />BILLING; SEPARATE PAYMENT PROHIBITED; LATE <br />PAYMENT OR NONPAYMENT. <br /> <br />(A) Solid waste and recyclable materials collection <br />bills shall be rendered monthly and shall be included <br />with the water, sewer, and utility tax bill but each <br />charge shall be shown as a separate item on the bill. <br />They shall be governed by the same due date and <br />delinquent date and shall be payable within 20 days from <br />the billing date. Any payment not received by the City <br />within 20 calendar days from the billing date shall be <br />delinquent. <br /> <br />(B) No customer charged for water, sewer, solid <br />waste/recyclable materials collection and/or the City <br />utility tax may pay such charges without simultaneously <br />paying all such charges.
