MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION - CASSELBERRY LITTLE LEAGUE GIRLS <br />"CUBS" SOFTBALL TEAM <br /> <br />Mayor Goffpresented the coaching staff and members of the Casselberry Little League Girls "Cubs" Softball <br />Team with a proclamation commending their recent accomplishment of winning the Top Team <br />Championship. <br /> <br />The following individuals were recognized: Bob Walker, Manager, Dennis Mrozek, Coach; Glenn Wolf, <br />Coach. Players: Sarah Dorr; Matteson Hage; Allison Torres; Nicole Pilotti; Jayna Edwards; Morgan Graddy; <br />Olivia Keene; Alexa Walker; and Kaley Meyers. <br /> <br />7. CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> <br />I) David J. Loombruno, 3437 Allston Lane, Winter Park, voiced concerns regarding parking <br />on Casselton Drive. Mr. Loombruno stated the car dealership is parking in the entranceway <br />to his subdivision, blocking access. Mr. Loombruno stated he was the President of his <br />homeowner's association and respectfully requested on the association's behalfthat the City <br />install no parking signs on Casselton Drive within fifty (50) feet ofthe entranceway. Mr. <br />Goucher stated the no parking sign locations have been staked out on Casselton Drive, and <br />all are actually greater than fifty (50) feet from the entranceway, except at Hamlet Loop due <br />to the sight distance. Mr. Goucher reported the actual signs will be installed within the next <br />two weeks. <br /> <br />2) David Pieski, 945 Brydie Court, voiced concerns regarding the City's current regulations <br />which require that banners which are commemorating a business opening or a special event <br />must be affixed to the building and not freestanding. Mr. Pieski requested that the City <br />Commission consider re-evaluating the necessity ofthat requirement. Mr. Pieski noted that <br />he had sent each Commissioner a letter on the matter last week. <br /> <br />3) Phyllis Sheppard, 580 South Triplet Lake Drive, commended the service of Vicky <br />Hilburn and the achievement of the two Little League Girls' Softball Teams who were <br />honored earlier in the meeting. <br /> <br />4) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the recent boil <br />water alert issued for the Hunterfield Water Tower area and inquired if the contamination <br />could have been a reclaimed water cross connectionlbackflow problem. Mr. Segreto stated <br />reclaimed water service is not available in the Hunterfield Water Tower area. Mr. Segreto <br />stated a map itemizing the specific streets affected by the boil water alert was available on <br />the City's website. Mr. Casselberry suggested that the City make a formal written request <br />to the City Attorney that her firm never destroy any of the City's records that are maintained <br />by the City Attorney's office, and should those records become to voluminous that the City <br />either fmd storage for them or share the cost of storing those records. <br />
