<br />RESOLUTION 05-1610 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER SERVICES WITH <br />SPPRE, LLC; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City needs a development manager for the City Center project, a public/private <br />partnership with Unicorp National Developments, Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City's purchasing policy requires that contracts over $5,000.00 be competitively bid, but <br />allows for certain exceptions, including "cooperative purchases"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Winter Park and Temple Terrace advertised quotes for similar services and <br />awarded the contract to SPPRE, LLC, as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SPPRE, LLC, has agreed to perform the services setforth in the City of Temple Terrace <br />and the City of Winter Park agreement at a comparable cost accounting for inflation and some differences in <br />scope; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the agreement between SPPRE, LLC and the CityofTemple <br />Terrace and the City of Winter Park and found them to be suitable for the needs of the City of Casselberry <br />and recommends approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Agreement with <br />SPPRE, LLC (attached as Attachment "An), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said Agreement on behalf of <br />the City. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of <br />this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of <br />any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
