<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 9, 2005 .. Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of 12 <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Dreier stated Ordinance 05-1159 amends the Police Officers' and Firefighters' <br />Pension Plan Investment Policy to increase its investments in equities from sixty percent (60%) cost to sixty- <br />five percent (65%) at market. This change was reviewed and supported by SunTrust, Pension Fund <br />Managers, and Foster & Foster, Pension Fund Actuary. Ordinance 05-1159 was passed on first reading on <br />April 11, 2005. Staff recommended approval of Ordinance 05-1159 on second reading as presented. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: No audience comment request forms were received for Ordinance 05-1159. Mayor Goff <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Hart moved to approve Ordinance 05-1159 <br />on second reading as presented. Motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. SPECIAL INVOICE AND MINOR CONTRACTS/AMENDMENTS <br />AUTHORIZATION REPORT <br /> <br />Pursuant to Resolution 05-1557, invoice information regarding attorney fees, initial contracts for projects, <br />award of bids and change orders on a project in excess of 5% are to be presented to the Commission prior <br />to payment.
