City Commission Meeting June 14, 2004 Page 5 Staff Presentation: Resolution 04-1498 authorizes an agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation to partially compensate the City for maintenance services on the light fixtures on U.S. Highway 17-92 and S. R. 436. The total compensation for fiscal year 2004/2005 to be paid to the City under this agreement is $25,780.68. Audience Input: John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida, asked if the City had an agreement with FDOT regarding improvements in technology, i.e. replacing yellow bulbs with white bulbs, etc. He also stated that lighting around City Hall was substandard. MOTION: Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner AI Clark and seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart that Resolution 04-1498, LightinglMaintenance Agreement with FDOT, be approved as submitted. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. 3. ADDroval of SP 03-08 Kai ViIlae:e Final Plat Staff Presentation: The final plat for Kai Village is located on Hill Street south of Seminola Boulevard and includes ten (10) lots representing five (5) duplex buildings. The final plat was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on May 12,2004. Staff Recommendation: The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the final plat. Request Commission approve the final plat for Kai Village based upon the following conditions: . Applicant reimburses the City of Casselberry for Surveyor's fees in the amount of $255.00, per Chapter 177, Florida Statutes. . Submit a check in the amount of$137.00 to the City, payable to Seminole County for recording fees of the executed my lars and any other information required as part of compliance with Chapter 177, Florida Statutes. MOTION: Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner AI Clark and seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner that SP 03-08 be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. 4.
