<br />City Commission Meeting <br />December 13, 2004 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />23, 2000, with Sun Trust Leasing Corporation for the lease of a Vacuum Truck; <br />providing for conflicts, severability, and effective date." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dreier stated that the Public Works Department has budgeted $42,000 in Fiscal Year 2005 for <br />a new Vac-Con Sewer Cleaning Truck. The cost of the vehicle is $189,056.00 and in order to fund <br />the truck, staff recommends a five-year lease purchase agreement with Sun Trust Leasing <br />Corporation at 3.5% interest, which is a cost of $40,649 yearly. The City Attorney has reviewed <br />and approved the documents. <br /> <br />MOTION: Moved by Commissioner Cook to approve Resolution 04-1544, Lease <br />Purchase Agreement for Vac-Con Truck in the amount of$40,649 yearly <br />for five years as presented. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Hart and motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />3. Resolution 04-1545 - Annexation, Waste and Wastewater Service Area Agreement with the <br />City of Lone:wood <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 04-1545 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A Resolution of the City of Casselberry, Florida, authorizing the execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement for the establishment of Annexation, Water, and Wastewater <br />Service Area Boundaries between the Cities' of Casselberry and Longwood; providing <br />for conflicts, severability, and effective date." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Segreto stated that this item was presented was presented to the City Commission at the <br />September 27, 2004 meeting of this year. The Agreement was forwarded to the City of Longwod <br />City Commission; however, they did not wish to the area adjacent to SR 427. The item is brought <br />back to you to just address U.S. 17-92. There are no issues with service or annexation along SR427, <br />staff recommends proceeding with this agreement to address service issues at U.S. 17-92 and Dog <br />Track Road. Attached to the Interlocal Agreement is a signed còpy of the Agreement executed by <br />the City of Longwood. The Agreement has been reviewed by Public Works Staff and found it to be <br />favorable to the City and staff recommends approval. <br /> <br />Public Comments: <br /> <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida, expressed concern that <br />consolidating the service area may erode the City's service area because each entity would have the <br />
