Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Cook. CONTRIBUTION TO SEMINOLE COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR <br />DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING COMPLEXlDRIVING <br />TRACK <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Deputy Chief McNeil stated Seminole Community College has requested funding <br />participation by law enforcement agencies within the County to develop a Public Safety Training <br />ComplexlDriving Track to be utilized by criminal justice students and the law enforcement agencies. The <br />complex will assist the City with required driving training for officers and other training to minimize the <br />City's liability. The requested participation level by Casselberry for Phase I is $16,471.00. Funds are <br />available from the State Forfeiture fund. In subsequent years there will be a need to charge $25 per officer <br />per year to assist in offsetting operating costs.
