Ordinance 04-1147 was passed <br />on first reading on August 23, 2004. Staff recommended approval of Ordinance 04-1147 on second and final <br />reading. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Pronovost asked ifthere was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for <br />or against Ordinance 04-1147. The following individuals came forward: <br /> <br />I) Paul Lovestrand, 1500 Preston Road, Longwood, stated he was speaking on behalf ofthe <br />applicant and requested favorable action on Ordinance 04-1147. <br /> <br />2) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, spoke in favor of Ordinance 04-1147. <br /> <br />No one else came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve and adopt <br />Ordinance 04-1147 on second and final reading, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote ofthe City Commission: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner - Yes; Commissioner Cook - Yes; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Vice Mayor <br />Clark - Yes; Mayor Pronovost - Yes. Motion passed 5 - O. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br /> <br />Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to request participation on any <br />agenda item, or address the Commission on any other matter. The following individual carne forward: <br /> <br />I) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding hurricane debris <br />removal and the tentative completion date of October 15, 2004. Mr. Casselberry inquired <br />if the City Commission had received letters he had directed to the body dated August 20, <br />2004 and September 1,2004. Mr. Casselberry reiterated his concerns regarding the request <br />for proposal process for conceptual plans for development of the property across from City <br />Hall and objected to the City Commission taking fonnal action during the presentations for <br />the subject property earlier in the meeting because of the lack of ability for audience <br />participation. <br /> <br />No one else carne forward. Mayor Pronovost closed Audience Participation. <br />
