<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 27, 2004 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 5 of 16 <br /> <br />1) Leonard Pollard, Shop Steward for the SWBA Union, 676 Monroe Harbor Place, <br />Sanford, reiterated his comments previously made at the September 13, 2004 meeting, <br />voicing objections to changing the inventory Control position ÍÌ'orn full time to part time. <br />Mr. Clifton stated the position does not warrant status. Mr. Clifton further stated that Mr. <br />Pollard was not following proper processes and may be in violation of City Code personnel <br />policies, which is an issue that he will deal with separately and accordingly with appropriate <br />action. <br /> <br />2) Char1es Schleiter, Representative of United Service Workers Local 555, 4296 <br />Fawn Meadow Circle, Clermont, stated the Union was opposed to the change of <br />status for the Inventory Control position to part time, and requested the City bargain <br />with the Union for the change, since it was a position within the previous contract. <br /> <br />No one else came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve Resolution 04- <br />1523 as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hart. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br /> <br />III. SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1147 - ZB 04-08 ZONING MAP <br />AMENDMENT - SCANDINAVIAN COVERS - EAST END AND SOUTH SIDE <br />OF ORANGE LANE <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 04-1147 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1147 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE <br />IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; <br />ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF I (INDUSTRIAL) FOR THAT <br />PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Legal Advertising: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 04-1147 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on September 17, 2004. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 04-1147 provides for an amendment to change the zoning <br />designation from Commercial General to industrial which will make the zoning consistent with the industrial <br />Future Land Use designation.
