EMERGENCY RESOLUTION 04-1520 CONFIRMATION AND <br />REINSTATEMENT OF DECLARATIONS OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Resolution 04-1520 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried nnanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 04-1520 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, CONFIRMING THE DECLARATION OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY AND <br />ALL EMERGENCY REGULATIONS ACTIVATED BY THE CITY MANAGER AS <br />PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 30 OF THE CASSELBERRY CODE OF ORDINANCES; <br />PROVIDING FOR EXTENSION OF THE 72 HOUR TIME LIMIT FOR SAID STATE OF <br />EMERGENCY THROUGH MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2004, EXPIRING AT <br />MIDNIGHT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Clifton stated Resolution 04-1520 provides for confirmation ofthe City Manager's <br />declaration of a state of emergency due to Hurricane Frances and all emergency regulations activated during <br />that period. Resolution 04-1520 also provides for extension of the state of emergency through Monday, <br />September 13, 2004, expiring at Midnight. A copy of Resolution 04-1520 is attached to and made a part <br />of these minutes. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approye Resolution 04- <br />1520 as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hart. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br /> <br />3. EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES <br /> <br />BTR #04-87: <br /> <br />Explanation of Request: Use Fund Balance to fund a special General Fun contingency reserve to cover <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency reimbursable costs associated with Hurricane Frances (FEMA - <br />1545 - DR). <br /> <br />INCREASE Acct. No. 001-0000-389.90 $1,000,000 <br />(Fund Balance Carryover) <br />INCREASE Acct. No. 001-0190-519.58.03 $1,000,000 <br />(Contingency Reserve - FEMA; Reimbursable Costs - Frances) <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve Budget Transfer <br />Reqnest #04-87 as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hart. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br />
