Ordinance 03-1084 - Annexation of 2904 Lakeview Drive

MOTION:

Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark to read Ordinance 03-
1084, Annexation of 2904 Lakeview Drive, by title only. The motion
was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried
unanimously by voice vote.

The City Clerk read Ordinance 03-1084 by title as follows:

"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO ANNEXATION; MAKING FINDINGS; ANNEXING TO
AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN
SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 21S, RANGE 30E; REDEFINING THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA;
PROVIDING FOR THE INTERIM PROVISION OF LAND
DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN
COUNTY LICENSEES FOLLOWING THEIR BUSINESS, TRADE OR
PROFESSION WITHIN THE LANDS TO BE ANNEXED MAY
CONTINUE TO FOLLOW SUCH BUSINESS, TRADE OR PROFESSION
THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CORPORATE LIMITS WITHOUT THE
NECESSITY OF FURTHER QUALIFICATION THEREFORE;
PROVIDING THAT EFFECTIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW, THE
LANDS TO BE ANNEXED SHALL BE ASSESSED FOR PAYMENT OF
MUNICIPAL AD VALOREM TAXES; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO FILE CERTIFIED COPIES OF THE ORDINANCE WITH THE
CLERK OF COURT AND THE SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS,
SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE."

StaffPresentation: The Community Development presented an annexation petition for
property owned by Pinter Enterprises, Inc., located at 2904 Lakeview Drive, northwestern
intersection of Pine Street and Lakeview Drive as a result of a water meter reactivation. The
property, approximately 0.2 acres, is adjacent to the City limits and will not create an enclave.
The property contains a single family residence of approximately 1,600 square feet and has
approximately 94 feet of frontage on Lakeview Drive and 76 feet of frontage on Pine Street.
