City Commission Meeting May 12, 2003 Page 10 The reading of Resolution 03-1419 was from a corrected copy passed ont at the beginning of the meeting (May 12, 2003). Staff Presentation: The Public Works Director stated the Wolf Trail Neighborhood Improvement Project included sanitary sewer, driveway aprons and sidewalks on Wolf Trail; drainage on Osceola Trail; sidewalks and driveway aprons on North Winter Park Drive. The project is funded through Community Development Block Grant Funding (CDBG) and additional in-kind City services. Bids received are as follows: APEC, Inc. Cathcart Contracting Company Gibbs & Register, Inc. MASCI Corporation $648,835.00 $513,355.70 $498,000.00 $432,993.00 Staff Recommendation: Bid be awarded to MASCI Corporation in the amount of $432,993.00. MOTION: Moved by Commissioner Al Clark to approve Resolution 03-1419, Wolf Trail Neighborhood Improvement Project, as corrected and recommended. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and carried unanimously by voice vote. 7. Ordinance 03-1086 - Electrical Distribution Franchise Agreement - Progress Energy MOTION: Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Ordinance 03- 1086, Electrical Distribution Franchise Agreement with Progress Energy, be read on first reading by title only. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried unanimously by voice vote. The City Clerk read ordinance 03-1086 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION d/b/a PROGRESS ENERGY, INC., A NON-EXCLUSIVE ELECTRIC UTILITY FRANCHISE; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ACCOMPANYING THE GRANT OF FRANCHISE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
