City Commission Meeting <br />March 24, 2003 <br />Page 17 <br /> <br />THE DEVELOPMENT OF LAKE CONCORD/ANNIVERSARY PARK; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Report: The Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded a Land Water <br />Conservation Fund Program Grant for the development of Lake Concord/Anniversary Park <br />located directly behind the City Hall Complex. The grant includes development of playground, <br />amphitheater, water play area, boardwalk, boat dock, parking, landscaping, lighting, renovation of <br />fishing pier, picnic facilities, and other related support facilities. The grant award from the State <br />is $200,000 and the City's match is $200,000. The project is scheduled to begin in late 2004. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approval of Resolution 03-1410 authorizing agreement with the State of <br />Florida Department of Environmental Protection. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Resolution 03- <br />1410, Lake Concord/Anniversary Park, be approved as submitted. <br />The motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br /> 9. Resolution 03-1411 - <br />ICMA City Manager 401 Defined Contribution Retirement Plan <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Resolution 03- <br />1411, ICMA City Manager 401 Del'reed Contribution Retirement Plan, <br />be read by title only. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Linda Hart and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 03-1411 by title as follows; <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN ICMA-RC MONEY PURCHASE <br />PLAN AND TRUST FOR THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY; PROVIDING FOR THE VANTAGE TRUST COMPANY <br />AS TRUSTEES; PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF THE <br />DECLARATION OF TRUST; PROVIDING FOR THE PROGRAM <br />COORDINATOR; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; SEVERABILITY; <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Report: The new City Manager has requested that the City set up his retirement plan <br />through the International City Management Association - Retirement Corporation (ICMA-RC) <br />This plan is in lieu of participation in the City's Nationwide Retirement Corporation Plans. <br /> <br /> <br />
