City Commission Special Meeting <br />City Manager Interviews <br />February 8, 2003 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />The scheduled interviews were as follows: <br /> <br />Mr. Anthony L. Shoemaker <br />3512 W. Obispo Street <br />Tampa, Florida 33629 <br /> <br />Mr. Shoemaker opened his remarks by stating that he had been in local government for almost <br />30 years; a City Manager/County Administrator for over 17 years. He said it was an honor to <br />serve the public and he prefers working and being part of a smaller, quality community such as <br />Casselberry. He indicated that he had a great deal of experience and knowledge to provide the <br />right community. <br /> <br />Interviews by the Commission followed. Mr. Shoemaker indicated that he could start <br />employment with the City of Casselberry within 30 days if selected by the City Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. Shoemaker's resume is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Mr. Rod Irwin <br />41'7 Winding Rose Drive <br />Rockville, MD 20850 <br /> <br />Mr. Irwin opened his remarks by expressing his appreciation for the tour of the City he received <br />on Friday and the reception held on Friday evening. He stated that he had served in municipal <br />government for 18 years. He enjoys the sense of community involvement and the position of <br />City Manager for the City of Casselberry would afford him the opportunity to be a part of a <br />quality community. <br /> <br />Interviews by the Commission followed. Mr. Irwin indicated that he could start employment <br />within 3 ~ 4 weeks if selected by the City Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. Irwin's resume is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br /> <br />
