K. Approval Process. <br />At time of permit application, the sign owner/operator must submit a <br />certification from the sign manufacturer that the light intensity of the sign <br />meets the Code requirements. The owner/operator must also provide an <br />accurate field method used to ensure maximum light levels are not <br />exceeded. Upon issuance of a building permit for an electronic message <br />center, the applicant shall sign an affidavit of acknowledgement provided <br />by the community development department which requires the <br />owner/operator of the sign to acknowledge the display requirements set <br />forth in the City Code and the penalties for failure to abide by these <br />requirements. <br />Section 3-16.8. Prohibited signs. <br />B. The following signs are prohibited within the City of Casselberry: <br />9. Electronic display type message center signs, except as provided in Section <br />3-16.6. <br />SECTION III. CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission of the City <br />of Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become <br />and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections <br />of this Ordinance may be renumbered or re -lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word, <br />"Ordinance" may be changed to "Section," "Article," or other appropriate word. <br />SECTION IV. CONFLICTS. All Ordinances or Resolutions, or parts of Ordinances or <br />Resolutions in conflict with any provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of <br />the conflict. <br />SECTION V. SEVERABILITY. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Ordinance. <br />Ordinance 25-1619 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />
