Introduction: Resolution 25-3482 provides for formal adoption of budget amendments and budget transfers approved during the first quarter of FY 2025. Budget Impact: The First Quarter Budget Amendment spreadsheet details changes to the budget as a result of budget amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2025. The First Quarter Budget Transfer spreadsheet details changes made to the budget within each department as approved by the City Manager. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 25- 3482. C. Resolution 25-3483 — Urging the Florida State Legislature to Enact Legislation to Provide a Public Records Exemption for Municipal Clerks "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, URGING THE FLORIDA STATE LEGISLATURE TO ENACT LEGISLATION TO PROVIDE A PUBLIC RECORDS EXEMPTION FOR MUNICIPAL CLERKS AND EMPLOYEES WHO PERFORM MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS WORK OR HAVE ANY PART IN CODE ENFORCEMENT FUNCTIONS OF A CITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Approval of Resolution 25-3483 urging the Florida State Legislature to enact legislation to provide a public records exemption for Municipal Clerks and employees who perform municipal elections work or have any part in code enforcement functions of a city is requested. Budget Impact: This item has no impact on the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the City Clerk recommended approval of Resolution 25-3483. D. Resolution 25-3484 — Acknowledging the Charter Amendments Approved by the Electorate at the August 20, 2024 City Election for Purposes of Codification "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, ACKNOWLEDGING THE CHARTER AMENDMENTS APPROVED BY THE ELECTORATE AT THE REGULAR CITY ELECTION HELD AUGUST 20, 2024 FOR PURPOSES OF CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Approval of Resolution 25-3484 acknowledging the Charter Amendments approved by the electorate at the August 20, 2024 City Election for purposes of codification into the City Charter by Municode is requested. Budget Impact: This item has no impact on the City Budget.
