CASSCLBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 10, 202.5 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 11 of 12 <br />Cities and the Tri -County League of Cities. She stated she also would provide the Mayor with <br />would be giving a copy to the Mayor to hand carry to Tallahassee in March during Legislative <br />Action Days. <br />Shared the following information: <br />The next City event will be the Food Trucks event on Friday, February 14"' from 6-9 p.m, in <br />Lake Concord Park. <br />The Opening Reception for the Gillespie Invitational art exhibition will be held at the <br />Casselberry Arts Center on Saturday, February 15"' from 5-7 p.m. <br />A Weed Wrangle will be held Saturday, March Is` at the Casselberry Greenway Trail trailhead <br />and anyone wishing to participate is encouraged to sign up early for that event and to contact <br />the Public Works Department for any additional information. <br />In response to a question from Commissioner Kirk, Mr. Newlon confirmed that the Casselberry Police <br />Foundation Bowling Fundraising Event would be held Saturday, February 15t1i at Aloma Bowl. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: <br />Attended the CALNO (Council of Local Governments in Seminole County) meeting on <br />Wednesday, February 5"' which was hosted by the City of Altamonte Springs. Reported that <br />Altamonte Springs City Manager Frank Marta gave a presentation on the many innovations <br />that have been implemented in the City of Altamonte Springs. <br />Announced that planning was underway for the 15"' annual Earth Fest on Saturday, April 26[11 <br />from 10 a.m, to 3 p.m., and that the event was the second largest Earth Day celebration in <br />Central Florida. <br />Commissioner Nancy Divita - Seat No. 2: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Thomas E. Kirk — Seat No. 4: <br />• Recently attended a four-hour Zoom training session presented by the Di Masi law firm on <br />changes in the laws governing homeowners' associations, condo associations and local <br />jurisdictions. <br />Vice Mayor Mark Busch — Seat No. 3: <br />No report. <br />Mayor David Henson - Seat No. 5: <br />
