There were residents present to speak about this case. <br />Discussion: There were residents present to speak about this case <br />Kathleen Gaudiano, 2656 Queen Mary Place, Maitland, FL, Vice President of the Board of Directors of <br />Brittany Gardens stated the situation with this home has been ongoing since 2007. From 20028 to 2012 <br />there were 12 non-compliance violations. <br />Jim Audet, 2653 Queen Mary Place, Maitland, FL member of the HOA, stated there have been continued <br />problems with this property. <br />Micelania Acevedo advised that the City has heard the residents' concerns and are looking into rectifying <br />this as soon as possible with the City's Nuisance Abatement program. <br />Special Magistrate Ruling: A ruling was made by the Special Magistrate that case CE -24-00421 1, located <br />at 499 Julian Lane and was found in violation of City Code 3-10.3.1 and if there is no compliance a $100.00 <br />per day fine will be imposed. The Respondent was given until January 30, 2025, 1 p.m., to achieve <br />compliance. A subsequent hearing will be held on February 20, 2025, to determine if compliance has been <br />achieved. The Special Magistrate also advised that future violations of this same code with be a repeat <br />violation, and the mailing of a notice will be waived and the case sent directly to a hearing. <br />L. CE -24-004350: 1400 Prince Phillip Drive <br />Violation — City Code 3-10.9.e.2.a. I Residential Designated Parking <br />City Code 3-10.9.f Unlicensed and/or Inoperable Vehicles <br />Staff Presentation: Micelania Acevedo, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that case 24-004350 was in <br />compliance. No further action was taken. <br />M. CE -24-004463: 1555 SR 436 <br />Violation — City Code 3-10.2.3.a.iv Front -end-loaded Refuse Container Screening Requirements <br />Staff Presentation: Tyler Hall, Code Compliance Officer gave testimony for case CE -24-004463, located <br />at 1.555 SR 436. The property was reinspected and found to remain in violation on January 13, 2025. The <br />City requested a correction date of February 17, 2025. If there is no compliance by February 17, 2025, then <br />a fine of $100.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City <br />requested a subsequent hearing date of February 20, 2025, to determine compliance.
