Discussion: Trisha Holt, 1406 Tierra Circle, Winter Park, FL described that the photos are of a 50 ft buffer, trees were cut down and a large debris pile was left. Due to the removal of the trees the buffer was removed, they can hear traffic from SR 436, they see the building and the lights from the Hollar dealership shine into their homes. Ms. Holt stated she think the quality of life has been taken away. Ms., Holt continued. Virginia Urichko 1392 Tierra Circle, Winter Park, FL advised that one of the debris piles is behind her wall and now feels unsafe, due to someone being able to walk up on the pile. Ms. Urichko also stated that a tree looks to have been struck by lightning, she contacted the property manager, but nothing has been done. Special Magistrate Ruling: A ruling was made by the Special Magistrate that case CE -24-004076, located at 2025 SR 436 and was found in violation of City Code 3-10.3.C.3., 3-13.8.A, and 4-18.2.0 and if there is no compliance a $150.00, $150.00, and $250.00 per day fine will be imposed. The Respondent was given until December 23, 2024, to achieve compliance. A subsequent hearing will be held on January 16, 2025, to determine if compliance has been achieved. L. CE -24-003767: 221 Colony Drive Violation — City Code 3-10.9.2.a.2 Recreation Equipment Screening Requirements City Code 3-10.3.b.I Fence in Disrepair Staff Presentation: Marie Plaza, Code Compliance Officer gave testimony for case CE -24-003767, located at 221 Colony Drive. The property was reinspected and found to remain in violation on November 18, 2024. The City requested a correction date of December 23, 2024. If there is no compliance by December 23, 2024, then a fine of $75.00 and $75.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter.
