Staff Presentation: Micelania Acevedo, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that this case was in compliance and would not be heard. No further action was taken. G. CE -24.003071: 461 Iris Road Violation — City Code 3-10.9.d.2.a.2 Recreation Equipment Screening Requirements Staff Presentation: Jacob Salas, Code Compliance Officer gave testimony for case CE -24-003071, located at 461 Iris Road. The property was reinspected and found to remain in violation on October 14, 2024. The City requested a correction date of October 31, 2024. If there is no compliance by October 31, 2024, then a fine of $75.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requested a subsequent hearing date of November 21, 2024, to determine compliance. There was a representative present to speak about this case. Discussion: Amanda Hart, 461 Iris Road, property owner gave testimony. Ms. Hart stated that to get a fence would be $3,500.00, but she also does not intend to keep the boat. The boat does have "for sale" signs and is in the process of trying to sell the boat but needs more time. Mr. Salas advised that the City could extend the compliance date to November 21, 2024. Discussion continued. Special Magistrate Ruling: A ruling was made by the Special Magistrate that case CE, -24-003071, located at 461 Iris Road and was found in violation of City Code 3-10.9.d.2.a.2 and if there is no compliance a $75.00 per day fine will be imposed. The Respondent was given until November 21, 2024, 1 p.m., to achieve compliance. A subsequent hearing well be held on November 21, 2024, to determine if compliance has been achieved. H. CE -24-003292: 280 Wetumpa Court Violation — City Code 3-10.3.0: Overgrowth, Weeds, Trash and Debris Staff Presentation: Marie Plaza, Code Compliance Officer gave testimony for case CE -24-003292, located at 280 Wetumpa Court. The property was reinspected and found to remain in violation on October 14, 2024. The City requested a correction date of October 31, 2024. If there is no compliance by October 31, 2024, then a fine of $50.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requested a subsequent hearing date of November 21, 2024, to determine compliance. There was no one present to speak about this case. Discussion: There was no further discussion.
