RESOLUTION 24-3446 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND SEMINOLE STATE COLLEGE FOR THE USE OF THEIR PUBLIC SAFTEY TRAINING COMPLEX; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry Police Department provides annual training on firearm use and emergency driving techniques; and WHEREAS, in past years this training was provided at the Seminole State College Public Safety Complex; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Police Department wishes to continue using this facility and seeks authorization to enter into an agreement with Seminole State College for the use of their Public Safety Training Complex at a cost of $2,162; and budget. WHEREAS, finding for this agreement is included in the proposed FY 2024; FY2024-2025 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the agreement with Seminole State College for the use of their Public Safety Training Complex and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION IL Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions ofthis Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section ofthis Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effects of any other Section or part ofthis Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this' day of rjjAn 2024. 1 ATTEST: Donna G.
