CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 12, 2001 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 19 <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 01-1288 by title as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A <br />CONTRACT WITH RYAN, INC., EASTERN CENTRAL FLORIDA DIVISION, TO <br />PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE TEMPLE TRAIL WATER MAIN <br />RELOCATION PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Mr. Goucher stated Resolution 01-1288 provides for award of bid for the Temple Trail Water Main <br />Relocation Project to the low bidder, Ryan Inc. in the amount of $14,885.00. Mr. Goucher noted the project <br />is scheduled to be completed within 45 days. Staff recommended approval of Resolution 01-1228 as <br />presented. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Clark moved to approve Resolution <br />01-1288 as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice <br />Mayor Henson. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br />9. RESOLUTION 01-1289 - ABANDONMENT OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT - LOT <br />104 - LOST LAKE ESTATES <br />MOTION: Commissioner Clark moved to read Resolution 01- <br />1289 by title only. Motion was seconded by Vice <br />Mayor Henson. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 01-1289 by title as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A 25 FOOT <br />DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON LOT 104 OF LOST LAKE ESTATES, AS RECORDED <br />IN PLAT BOOK 56, PAGES 51-60, PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Mr. Goucher stated the petition to close, vacate and abandon a portion of an easement described in Resolution <br />01-1289 was presented by both the owner and developer due to the lot not matching up with the blueprints <br />of the standard home being built. Mr. Goucher stated sufficient property will remain to access the drainage <br />pipe and the Public Works Department had no objections to the petition. Staff recommended approval of <br />Resolution 01-1289 as presented. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Clark moved to approve Resolution <br />01-1289 as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hart. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br />
