RESOLUTION 24-3454 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY COMMISSION CODE <br />OF PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Section 4.17 of the Casselberry City Charter provides that the City Commission <br />shall determine its own rules and order of business; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to amend and update the City Commission Code <br />of Parliamentary Procedures previously amended and updated in 2013 by Resolution 13-2496; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to include a new provision that Commissioners' <br />reports may be limited to ten (10) minutes if deemed necessary by the Mayor. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves and adopts <br />the City Commission Code of Parliamentary Procedures attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED and ADOPTED this 44' day of L C, , AD 2024. <br />ATTEST: <br />Donna G.
