Procurement Information Report for the Period May 1 2024 through ME 31 2024 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of May 2024 was contained in <br />the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about minor <br />contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Shared that lie would be out of the office the week of July I" through 4°i but would be working <br />remotely and would be reachable by phone if needed. He added that if any of the <br />Commissioners had any concerns, needed to report any issues, or needed information, they <br />could also reach out to his Executive Assistant Lorie Mertens -Black to see if she could assist, <br />but he would also be available, as well. <br />Attended the Police Department Headquarters Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House <br />earlier in the day and commended all Police Department staff who had worked to make it such <br />a great event. <br />15. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Mark Busch — Seat No. 3: <br />• Congratulated Acting Utility Divisions Director Jiovani Charres on his appointment to serve <br />as the City's alternate representative to the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater <br />Transmission Authority Board. <br />• Attended the Police Department Headquarters Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House on <br />Monday, Monday, June 20'. <br />Commissioner Nancy Divita - Seat No. 2: <br />Expressed appreciation to Public Works & Utilities Director Kelly Brock and City Manager <br />Newlon for listening to her concerns and resolving an issue with a radar speed limit sign on <br />Winter Park Drive. <br />
