Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />C. Resolution 24-3428 - Approving a Land Donation Agreement Between <br />Casselberry Investment Properties Ltd; Lilian Carroll; and Lilian Carroll as <br />Successor Trustee of the John Norris Casselberry Revocable Trust Dated June 8 <br />1992; and the City of Casselberry for Six Properties <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 24-3428 by title, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING A LAND DONATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN CASSELBERRY <br />INVESTMENT PROPERTIES, LTD., LILIAN CARROLL, AND LILIAN CARROLL, AS <br />SUCCESSOR TRUSTEE OF THE JOHN NORRIS CASSELBERRY REVOCABLE TRUST <br />DATED JUNE 8, 1992, AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR SIX PROPERTIES; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated that Resolution 24-3428 provides for approval of <br />a Land Donation Agreement between Casselberry Investment Properties, Ltd., Lilian Carroll, and Lilian <br />Carroll, as Successor Trustee of the John Norris Casselberry Revocable Trust dated June 8, 1992 and the <br />City of Casselberry. He explained that donation of the six (6) properties were contingent upon approval of <br />the previous agenda item for purchase of eleven (11) parcels from Casselberry Investment Properties, Ltd. <br />The six (6) parcels are all large parcels that are lake bottom, submerged lands, that are portions of some of <br />the various lakes in the City, with one being an entire lake. City ownership of these properties better <br />solidifies the City's jurisdiction to maintain these lakes and also will make permitting of public and private <br />projects within or adjacent to these parcels easier. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City's budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Resolution 24-3428 approving a land <br />Donation Agreement for six (6) properties. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 24-3428 <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Resolution 24-3428, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Divita.
