ARTICLE 3 <br />INDEMNIFICATION <br />The City shall provide employees with legal defense in civil lawsuits arising out of the <br />performance of their job duties with the City; provided that the act, event, or omission of action <br />was within the scope of the employee's employment or function and the employee did not act in <br />bad faith or with malicious purpose or in a manner exhibiting wanton and willful disregard of <br />human rights, safety, or property. <br />Page 6 <br />
