Street Lighting Assessment <br />Preliminary Rate Resolution <br />"Assessed Property" means all parcels of real property included in the Street <br />Lighting Assessment Roll that receive a special benefit from Street Lighting Services. <br />"Assessment Ordinance" means City Ordinance No. 09-1301, as may be <br />amended from time to time, or its successor in function. <br />"Buildings" means any structure, whether temporary or permanent, built for <br />support, shelter or enclosure of persons, chattel, or property of any kind. This term shall <br />include mobile homes or any vehicles service in any way the function of a building. <br />"City Clerk" means the clerk of the City Commission. <br />"City Commission" means the governing body of the City of Casselberry, Florida. <br />"City Manager" means the chief administrative officer of the City, or such person's <br />designee responsible for coordinating calculation and collection of Assessments as <br />provided herein. <br />"City" means the City of Casselberry, Florida. <br />"Developed Property" means Tax Parcels that are improved entirely or in part with <br />Buildings. <br />"Dwelling Unit" means a Building, or portion thereof, which is lawfully used for <br />residential purposes, consisting of one or more rooms arranged, designed, used, or <br />intended to be used as living quarters for one family only. <br />"Equivalent Residential Unit" or "ERU" means the Assessment Unit described in <br />Section 3.03 hereof. The ERU is the standard unit used to express the special benefit <br />received by Assessed Property through the provision of Street Lighting Services. One ERU <br />is equal to the average size of a Single Family Residential Parcel within the City on which a <br />Dwelling Unit has or can be constructed, which is .26 acres. <br />2 <br />
