CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 26, 2024 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 14 <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />Announced the March 11, 2024 regular City Commission Meeting has been cancelled. <br />The City's next regular Food Truck Friday event will be held Friday, March 8"' from 6-9 p.m. <br />at Lake Concord Park and will feature musical artist Ennis Pruitt. <br />The Spring Jazz and Art Festival will be held Saturday, March 16"' and will feature the music <br />of Eric Darius, with opening act Ella and the Bossa Beat. There will also be four art exhibitions <br />featured simultaneously with the festival at City Hall, the Art House, the Sculpture House, and <br />the Casselberry Arts Center. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton - Seat No. 4: <br />Reminded everyone that the Pre -Budget Planning Workshop was scheduled for Tuesday, <br />February 13"' and encouraged anyone interested in learning how the City's budget works to <br />attend. <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />• Expressed appreciation to staff for bringing forward the Adopt -a -Shoreline Program which had <br />been approved earlier in the meeting, noting that lie felt it would play an important part in <br />keeping the City's many lakes clean. <br />Vice Mayor/Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />Echoed Commissioner Busch's comments regarding the new Adopt -a -Shoreline Program. <br />Reminded everyone again of the Weed Wrangle that was taking place Saturday, March 2nd at <br />the Marigold Trailhead and encouraged anyone interested to come and participate in that event <br />to remove invasive species. <br />Enjoyed participating in the Casselberry Police Foundation bowling fundraiser as a spectator <br />on Saturday, February 17`x'. <br />Attended the Police Awards and Promotional Ceremony on Thursday, February 22nd and stated <br />he also had enjoyed the event. <br />
