CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of December 11, 2023 — Regular Meeting Page 10 of 30 Police Department's marked patrol unit standards. The Tahoes are available through piggybacking SOUrcewell National Auto Fleet contract 060920 -NAF. Staff is also proposing to piggyback Seminole County Sheriff's contract with Dana Safety Supply, Inc. for associated emergency equipment and safety/security upgrades in the amount of $179,717. Additional safety/security upgrades, striping, tinting, etc. will be purchased. Budget Amendment #24-014 provides funding for this purchase through the use of ARPA funds in a total amount of $706,387. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #24-014 increases funding in the Vehicle account #124-0610- 521.67-22 and Other Non -Operating Source account #124-0000-389.90-00 in the amount of $706,387. BA #24-014 Explanation of Request: This budget amendment seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for the purchase of ten (10) new Chevy Tahoes for the Police Department with required equipment and installation in the amount of $706,387. Excuse Absence of Commissioner Chad Albritton Introduction: Commissioner Chad Albritton advised on December 11, 2023 that he will be unable to attend the December 11, 2023 meeting due to a family emergency. He has respectfully requested that his Excuse of Absence be placed on the Consent Agenda for consideration. (See notion on Page 2 of these minutes unending the Consent Agenda to include this item.) Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as amended to add the Excuse of Absence for Commissioner Chad Albritton. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4- 0.
