NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission does hereby find that it is appropriate, proper, <br />timely, and in the best interest of the citizens of Casselberry and Seminole County that the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency members consist of the City's governing body as provided <br />in FS 163.357. <br />SECTION II. The City Commission hereby formally requests the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida, to delegate its authority to the Casselberry City <br />Commission (governing body) to serve as the Agency, in which case all the rights, powers, <br />duties, privileges, and immunities are vested as the Casselberry Community Redevelopment <br />Agency. <br />SECTION IH. The City Commission directs the Mayor to effectuate this resolution <br />through any amendments necessary to the pertinent interlocal agreement regarding the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency. <br />SECTION IV. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with <br />any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION V. Severabilitv. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase <br />or portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional in any <br />court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and <br />independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br />portion hereto. <br />SECTION VI.
