NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission does hereby find that it is appropriate, proper, timely, and in the best interest of the citizens of Casselberry and Seminole County that the Community Redevelopment Agency members consist of the City's governing body as provided in FS 163.357. SECTION II. The City Commission hereby formally requests the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida, to delegate its authority to the Casselberry City Commission (governing body) to serve as the Agency, in which case all the rights, powers, duties, privileges, and immunities are vested as the Casselberry Community Redevelopment Agency. SECTION IH. The City Commission directs the Mayor to effectuate this resolution through any amendments necessary to the pertinent interlocal agreement regarding the Community Redevelopment Agency. SECTION IV. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION V. Severabilitv. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional in any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion hereto.
