City Charter Amendment 1: <br />TERM LIMIT INCREASE FOR COMMISSIONERS. <br />Shall Article IV, Section 4.02 be amended to increase the Commissioners' maximum terms <br />from three consecutive terms to five consecutive terms? <br />YES for approval ❑ <br />NO for rejection ❑ <br />Section 4.02. - Creation of City Commission; composition; term. <br />There is hereby created a City Commission of the City of Casselberry consisting of five members; <br />four Commissioners and a Mayor, who shall also be known as a Commissioner. Each member of <br />the City Commission shall be elected at large in the manner provided in this Charter and shall hold <br />office for a term of four years, or until their successors are elected and certified. No member of the <br />City Commission shall serve more than three five consecutive terms. <br />City Charter Amendment 2: <br />HEARING AFTER COMMISSIONER MISSES FOUR REGULAR MEETINGS IN ONE <br />YEAR. <br />Shall Article IV, Section 4.03 of the City Charter of the City of Casselberry be amended to <br />provide that if a Commissioner misses four regularly scheduled meetings in any calendar <br />year, the Commission may conduct a review of that Commissioner's absences at a noticed <br />public hearing? <br />YES for approval ❑ <br />NO for rejection ❑ <br />Section 4.03. Qualifications and disqualifications. <br />Members of the City Commission shall have been residents of the City continuously for the one <br />year immediately preceding qualification. They shall have the qualifications of electors in the City, <br />and shall be residents and reside within the municipal limits while in office. Any member of the <br />City Commission ceasing to possess any of the foregoing qualifications, or who shall be convicted <br />of a felony, shall forfeit his office.
