City Charter Amendment 1: TERM LIMIT INCREASE FOR COMMISSIONERS. Shall Article IV, Section 4.02 be amended to increase the Commissioners' maximum terms from three consecutive terms to five consecutive terms? YES for approval ❑ NO for rejection ❑ Section 4.02. - Creation of City Commission; composition; term. There is hereby created a City Commission of the City of Casselberry consisting of five members; four Commissioners and a Mayor, who shall also be known as a Commissioner. Each member of the City Commission shall be elected at large in the manner provided in this Charter and shall hold office for a term of four years, or until their successors are elected and certified. No member of the City Commission shall serve more than three five consecutive terms. City Charter Amendment 2: HEARING AFTER COMMISSIONER MISSES FOUR REGULAR MEETINGS IN ONE YEAR. Shall Article IV, Section 4.03 of the City Charter of the City of Casselberry be amended to provide that if a Commissioner misses four regularly scheduled meetings in any calendar year, the Commission may conduct a review of that Commissioner's absences at a noticed public hearing? YES for approval ❑ NO for rejection ❑ Section 4.03. Qualifications and disqualifications. Members of the City Commission shall have been residents of the City continuously for the one year immediately preceding qualification. They shall have the qualifications of electors in the City, and shall be residents and reside within the municipal limits while in office. Any member of the City Commission ceasing to possess any of the foregoing qualifications, or who shall be convicted of a felony, shall forfeit his office.
